She has spent 9+ years client-facing and 5+ years on HIPAA-compliant healthcare platforms handling claims and patient financial data, shipping named systems into production: natural-language dialog over claims data that cut chart creation time by 96.5%, healthcare NLP reading unstructured insurance and benefits documents at a 98% F1 score, and machine learning that cut analyst time to find top cost drivers by 87.5%. 01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
We need more female representation in IT. Do not be afraid to take on a position in IT even though it might look like a male-dominated world. Learn to speak your mind, stand up for yourself. Growth is always outside of your comfort zone. Be willing to take on additional roles and responsibilities even if you don't think you're fully capable. Sign up for it because we never know what our capabilities are unless we give ourselves a chance. Not to be afraid, just be bold and be you.
