Jovelyn Larson, JD, MBA, LLM, is a distinguished strategic sourcing and procurement executive with more than 15 years of experience leading enterprise transformation at the intersection of procurement, legal governance, finance, and technology. As Vice President of Strategic Sourcing at Wells Fargo, she drives high-value sourcing initiatives that support technology modernization, consumer banking and lending, and global payments while advancing AI-enabled procurement transformation. Recognized for her expertise in contract negotiation, supplier governance, legal risk management, and operational excellence, Larson partners with executive leaders across technology, legal, risk, and finance to position procurement as a strategic driver of innovation, business value, and organizational performance.

Larson's strong academic foundation reflects her commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence. She earned a Juris Doctor (JD) in the Philippines, followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business Law from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2021. She also holds a degree in Political Science, a paralegal certification, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt credential. Prior to Wells Fargo, she held leadership roles at Huntington National Bank, TCF Bank, and Medtronic, where she led strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, merger integration, legal operations, and supplier governance initiatives. In 2025, she founded Tabitha Home Care Solutions, LLC, a Christ-centered home care organization dedicated to serving older adults while continuing her executive career.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Larson is deeply committed to leadership development, mentorship, and community service. She serves as Vice President of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Twin Cities, advises the Filipino Minnesotan Youth Organization, mentors students and emerging professionals, and actively supports church and nonprofit initiatives. 01What do you attribute your success to?

Never giving up through faith, resilience, and hard work despite humble beginnings with hunger and scarcity in the Philippines, using those experiences to lead with empathy and integrity.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Do what you love and align your values with purpose rather than just money; add a bit of politics by knowing when to say certain things without compromising integrity.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Find a good mentor whose career path you would like to follow, take accountability for where you want to be, map your goals, communicate your value clearly, build relationships, and persevere with integrity.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Many growth opportunities available in a very male dominated industry where visibility is key to advancing to roles like CPO.
