Joy Bowens

Joy Bowens has been in the healthcare field for roughly 20 years. She initially started in the Head Start space as a health specialist, providing health screenings to children from birth to 5 years old and ensuring Head Start sites met performance standards to maintain their funding. She also trained grantees and internal teams on CPR, first aid, child abuse and neglect prevention, and the Head Start performance standards. Bowens earned her Master's in Healthcare Administration in 2010 and holds a certification as a non-profit leader, belonging to the associated professional association. She is currently working as a consultant, reviewing assignments from companies, providing feedback on materials, and assisting with project finalization through email exchanges. Bowens is pursuing her doctorate in healthcare administration and takes pride in being recognized as an expert whose consulting services help organizations grow their businesses and secure funding.
