What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to building genuine, long-term relationships with my customers and truly loving what I do. Transitioning from teaching into sales wasn’t easy—especially starting out as a woman in a male-dominated industry—but my passion for the field, my resilience, and my enjoyment of connecting with people and talking about fragrances have carried me through more than 32 rewarding years.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to prioritize responsiveness and follow-up, focus on delivering strong, confident sales presentations, and invest in building authentic, lasting relationships by always being there for your clients.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are creativity and connection—whether I’m expressing myself through sewing and home decorating or staying responsive, following through, and building meaningful relationships with clients and the people in my life.
