About Juanita

Juanita Wright is the owner of JWEW Consulting and an international AI consultant. With 2 years focused on AI and over 25 years as an entrepreneur, she assists corporations, government entities, and higher education institutions in integrating AI tools strategically, emphasizing education to overcome fear and proper implementation with guardrails. Her path started in the beauty industry as an esthetician, where she owned mobile spas operating across Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia for 10 years, serving celebrities and later opening the 9,000 square foot Spa Latera in St. Augustine, Florida for 6 years with 15 employees. Transitioning to real estate, she obtained licenses in Florida, Georgia, and Toronto, Canada, closed a notable 24,000 square foot residential sale, led a team of over 100, and earned recognition as a top agent in Florida and Georgia multiple times. She maintains her real estate team alongside AI work. Wright holds certifications including an AI consulting certificate from the University of Maryland, another from North Florida University, an international AI certification, real estate licenses, and esthetician training. She attributes her success to her Jamaican parents who modeled hard work and entrepreneurship, and she values trust with clients, kindness, and sharing knowledge through teaching. She supports breast cancer organizations in memory of her sister and advises embracing AI tools while staying at the forefront of industry changes.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Juanita

01What do you attribute your success to?

My parents, who are Jamaican entrepreneurs, taught me to work hard and be the best at whatever I do. My mom encouraged me to travel the world to learn services and bring them back. Both parents modeled entrepreneurship.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Just start doing it and playing around with the tools because you'll fall in love with it. Educate yourself as much as possible so you don't get left behind. Embrace AI since the world will be controlled by it. Do not be afraid, start using free tools, and always be at the forefront of what's going on in your industry.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges: People are scared of AI, fear of no control over tools, affordability for businesses. Opportunities: Being at the forefront of a new industry, educating people on proper AI use beyond basic searches, constant changes create ongoing need for guidance.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Trust is very important, especially with clients since my work requires it. Being kind and loving to people. Sharing knowledge is key - I'm always teaching people about makeup, AI, or real estate.
