Her Story
About Juanterria
Juanterria Browne is a healthcare professional, educator, and entrepreneur dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through compassionate care and inclusive education. A Virginia native, she began her career after earning an Associate of Science degree in Medical Assisting, working for several years as a medical assistant before advancing her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). After completing her LPN training at Chester Career College and earning her nursing license in 2019, Browne continued to build her expertise in healthcare while expanding her commitment to serving her community. Today, she balances her responsibilities as a full-time nurse, a clinical instructor at Chester Career College, and the owner of two thriving educational organizations.
In 2020, Browne founded KIDZ with Goals Unlimited LLC, a daycare center that has grown to serve approximately 45 children, with a specialized focus on behavioral health and supporting children with autism and other developmental needs. She also established Cornerstone Prep, a private school in Hopewell, Virginia, providing educational services from daycare through middle school, with plans for future expansion. Under her leadership, the organizations collaborate with physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and licensed behavioral health providers to deliver comprehensive, family-centered support. Her mission is to create an inclusive learning environment where children of all backgrounds and abilities have access to quality education, therapeutic resources, and opportunities to thrive.
Driven by a passion for service and community impact, Browne envisions her schools as more than educational institutions—they are hubs for family support and child development. Her background in nursing enables her to bridge healthcare and education, ensuring children receive holistic care that addresses both academic and developmental needs. Guided by the values of organization, integrity, teamwork, and compassion, she continues to expand her programs while mentoring future healthcare professionals. Through her leadership, Browne is helping shape a stronger, more inclusive future for children and families throughout Hopewell and the surrounding Virginia communities.
