What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative execution. Over the course of my career in B2B SaaS and cybersecurity, I’ve focused on go-to-market revenue generation, strategic account management, and leading high-performing teams. One project I’m particularly proud of involved designing a strategy that boosted ARR per sales representative significantly within just six months. Experiences like this have reinforced my belief in the power of aligning strategy, insights, and teamwork to deliver measurable results.
My degree in Public Relations from Texas Tech gave me a foundational understanding of the interconnectedness of sales, marketing, and communications. Since then, I’ve navigated everything from company acquisitions to IPOs, as well as the dynamics of startups versus larger organizations. These experiences have taught me the importance of speaking up and sharing your perspective—every insight matters, regardless of your role.
Ultimately, I approach every challenge with curiosity, a solutions-oriented mindset, and a commitment to driving meaningful outcomes. I thrive on opportunities to bridge strategy and execution, while fostering collaboration that empowers teams to achieve their goals.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is inspired by John Wooden’s timeless wisdom: focus on doing things right the first time, and always take pride in your work. Equally important is recognizing the value of your unique perspective—every insight you bring to the table matters. Seek out diverse experiences, don’t be afraid to speak up, and embrace opportunities that stretch you. Over time, combining diligence, curiosity, and confidence in your voice will open doors and help you make a meaningful impact.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the tech industry today is finding the right balance between growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. I’ve learned that understanding the “why” behind processes is just as important as following them, and that being willing to adapt strategies when they no longer deliver results is key to staying competitive. I’ve also noticed that valuable ideas—particularly from less experienced team members—can sometimes go unrecognized, which reinforces for me the importance of fostering diverse perspectives.
Having worked in both startups and larger organizations, I’ve seen firsthand how approaches differ, and how flexibility, collaboration, and a willingness to challenge assumptions can turn challenges into opportunities. At its core, success in this field requires balancing innovation with disciplined execution while creating an environment where every insight has the potential to drive impact.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are drive, perseverance, and hard work. I believe in approaching challenges with grit and determination, and I never shy away from asking questions to deepen my understanding and uncover new opportunities. These principles help me stay focused, continuously learn, and contribute meaningfully, whether I’m leading a team, solving a complex problem, or pursuing personal growth.
