Judith Arrazola

Judith Arrazola is the founder and owner of Orion Distribution Company LLC in Houston, Texas, which she created about 6 years ago to bring MX1910 mezcal to a broader U.S. audience while respecting its ancestral traditions and communities. An architect by trade, she holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from a college in Mexico and participated in an exchange program at the University of Arizona. Her career path led her from hospitality architecture projects such as nightclubs, restaurants, and bars to founding her distribution company, where her main expertise lies in distribution, logistics, and educating people about mezcal and its origins. She is TABC certified in serving and graduated in the top 5 of her class. In 2018, her studio received the Best of Magnolia Interior Designer award. Arrazola is also the founder of the Texas chapter of Mujeres del Mezcal del Maguey and remains active in architectural projects alongside her distribution work.
