About Judith
Judith Seva serves as president of Crossbeach Immokalee, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Immokalee community in Collier County, Florida. She assumed this leadership position in August after attending meetings as a representative and connecting local resources to address community gaps. Seva also maintains full-time employment at a clinic while drawing on over 13 years of business management experience in retail and staffing, followed by 11 years in banking where she gained exposure to multiple financial services areas. Her educational background includes a high school diploma from San Antonio, with incomplete studies in business administration. She has conducted financial literacy programs at St. Matthew's House and launched a networking group to assist Hispanic small businesses in building connections. Seva attributes her drive to her faith, viewing her work as obedience to a calling to serve others and support her family.

01What do you attribute your success to?
God has been my rock and the reason why I do everything. Immokalee is obedience to God. My faith has always been God. A successful life is having a purpose in life, which is my calling to serve, and being able to have the time to be with my family.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never listen to people that tell you you can't do something because of your education, of your background, or just because they don't see the potential in you. The limits the people, the fear that other people put on you is the limits they have. They're not your limits. My faith has always been God.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
To not give up, pursue your dreams, find what you're passionate about, because if you're passionate about something, you're gonna be successful. Passion is the fuel that you need to continue to be motivated and hang out with people that are in the same mindset, because those are the people that you're going to be able to feel encouraged by.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The greatest challenges is your own fear, on the comments of other people, or people that think that gives you those negatives, and they tell you why you can't do something, or why is it impossible. But I try to overcome that... fear does not come from God.
