About Juhi
Juhi Srivastava serves as a Delivery Manager and Customer Engagement Partner in Richmond, Virginia, where she leads multiple programs with a focus on client-facing delivery management and customer experience. With more than 15 years in IT, she began her career as a trainee developer trained in Java and advanced through roles as a lead, tech lead, project manager, and program manager. She earned a Bachelor's in Technology and Computer Science in 2010 and holds certifications in PMP, AWS, Java, AI Agents for Business Developers, and Generative AI. In March 2020, she received the Star Performer Award from her CEO. Juhi attributes her success to hard work and dedication, and she values staying true to commitments by ensuring deliverables are met. She advises planning dedicated time each day for focused work and encourages young women entering IT to brace themselves, give their all, and use time wisely. She is currently writing a book on women leaders in IT, inspired by the declining number of women in senior roles.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my hard work and dedication.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of my managers told me that you just have to plan your day in a way that you keep one or two hours aside just for your stuff. Before that, I used to just go wherever meetings were there. But now, I keep one to two hours, I block the calendar for myself, where I can think through, and I can see what has been done, what needs to be done.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I will tell them to brace themselves and give their all what they can if they want to achieve success, and use your time wisely. Plan your day.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is both an opportunity and a challenge. Everybody's using AI for everything, but you have to use it intelligently because AI is not gonna give you the correct response if you are not using it intelligently.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
If somebody gives me something that you have to do, I make sure that I get it done. Either you don't commit to anything, but if you commit, I'll make sure I get it delivered. You have to stay on your words. You have to be true to your words.
