02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I've always believed that there was no child left behind. No child should be left behind.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never let anybody stop your dream. Never. And don't let anybody write your story. Write your own story.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

21st century children are raising themselves because they're not raised by parents.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Be the best you. Be all you can be. Be dedicated to your craft. And my craft is education. God gave me this calling to teach when I was in 5th grade.
