About Julia
I graduated from Parsons with my Master's in fashion management, and during that time I was doing around 5 internships at once, and they all had a common need, which was social media. I kind of stepped in and realized this was a great career for me, and that I really loved doing this. I took the jump to New York and worked at a PR agency where I was leading socials for many celebrities, influencers, and Real Housewives. I actually signed a Real Housewife, along with brand partnerships. I've worked across everything - food, electronics, you name it, I've probably done it. I've also worked on social media for startups to established businesses, including businesses that have sold. After that, I was doing social media for Daymond John from Shark Tank, which was a huge role in itself and such an opportunity. I managed his socials on all the platforms - Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, all the things. After that, I realized there were a bunch of freelance clients that I was also helping through my connections, including lawyers, top CEOs, and brands. I've been really helping with the strategy aspect for a lot of high profiles, because you can't just have a brand anymore, you need to also have a presence on social media. Now I'm starting my own social media agency, and I've just signed about 2 clients. I'm in my first month, and it's been very fulfilling to see people sign and trust me with their social media completely. Being independent and being able to do something for myself in creating a business, and actually seeing people sign, it's just been very fulfilling to be like, wow, this is really happening.
