Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of early exposure to the construction industry, as my father was a builder, and extensive experience in new-home and builder sales. Over the years, I also took on hands-on agent training roles, where I helped develop and support successful agents, which further strengthened my expertise. In addition, my personal perseverance and strong faith have been central in guiding and sustaining my professional growth.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering my industry to build strong community connections by joining professional and interest-based groups, as these networks can open doors and provide support. It’s also important to create multiple income streams and establish financial and practical readiness so you have the flexibility and security to adapt to life changes and opportunities as they arise.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges in my field right now are the prolonged downturn and volatility in the real estate market, which has been one of the most difficult in recent years. Many agents are struggling with low transaction volume, and market conditions remain soft with ongoing inventory pressure, particularly in areas like Florida where post-COVID relocations are reversing. Pricing misalignment is also a challenge, as some sellers are still anchored to peak COVID-era values despite current declines. At the same time, there are opportunities for experienced professionals to stand out through market expertise, adaptability, and strong guidance for both buyers and sellers navigating a more complex, cash-driven and rate-sensitive environment.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are faith, perseverance, and a commitment to serving others. I am especially passionate about helping women and children, and I strive to approach both life and business with generosity, integrity, and a service-oriented mindset.
