Julia Traiger serves as a Sales Rep at Insperity, based in New York, New York. In this role, she supports small to mid-sized businesses by addressing their everyday HR needs and providing access to Fortune 500-level benefits, 401K plans, compliance assistance, and risk management. Traiger has been in her field for approximately 6 months, having transitioned from a prior sales rep position at C2. She holds a degree in finance and marketing from Quinnipiac University, as well as an MBA in business development and marketing earned through the university's Fast Track Master's program in 2023. Additionally, she maintains certifications in Excel, finance, and Bloomberg. Traiger attributes her professional drive to a commitment to self-improvement, aiming to be at least 1 percent better each day.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I think it has to do with my own self-drive and every day wanting to be at least 1% better. I've always prided myself on that, like how can I make the next day at least once better.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say just to not get discouraged. If there's one thing that I've learned within sales as a whole, or even just starting out, you're always gonna compare, and I think comparison's a thief of joy of every circumstance in life, but don't let that discourage you, like keep your head up and just keep going, because things will eventually fall into place and fall in your lap. It just takes some time.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
This industry and role has no restraints on where I can go, and who I can talk to, and who I can meet. Opportunity-wise, I feel like I could literally talk to anybody in any field in any industry, and that's exciting to me, because I get to learn a little bit about things that I've never been interested in before.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Just being a good person is honestly my top value in life. I feel like what you give and what you put out into the universe is kind of what you get back. So being truthful and honest and morally doing things that are right are really what I value on a day-to-day.
