Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jules

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to maintaining a mindset of continuous learning, resilience, and optimism. I believe in keeping an open mind, adapting to challenges, and continuing to move forward even when situations become difficult. Throughout my career, I have focused on finding solutions, creating actionable plans, and making the best out of every opportunity. That commitment to growth and perseverance has been the foundation of my professional success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that it is better to be a “jack-of-all-trades and master of none,” because over time and with consistent growth, you eventually become a master of several key areas. I’ve learned the importance of staying curious, keeping an open mind, and never stopping the learning process. Developing diverse skills throughout my career has allowed me to adapt, grow, and excel in multiple professional environments.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be confident in who you are and stop trying to fit into a mold of what you think you should be. For a long time, confidence was something I struggled with personally, but I found that embracing authenticity and leading with self-confidence completely changed the trajectory of my career. When you are genuine, people respond positively, trust grows naturally, and opportunities begin to open. Be authentic, trust your abilities, and allow your confidence to guide you forward.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the greatest opportunities in my field is the ability to build meaningful partnerships while helping clients navigate increasingly complex commercial food and beverage projects. The industry moves quickly and requires adaptability, strategic communication, and strong organizational leadership. I see tremendous opportunity in creating streamlined systems, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and helping businesses grow through proactive project management and relationship-building.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are love, kindness, authenticity, and trust. I strongly believe that genuine human connection is the foundation of successful relationships, both professionally and personally. Leading with kindness and empathy creates stronger collaboration, deeper trust, and more meaningful partnerships. I strive to remain authentic in every interaction and believe that when people feel valued and respected, stronger and more productive relationships naturally follow.
