Julianne Robinson is a technology leader specializing in SaaS integrations, known for bridging the gap between complex systems and real-world business needs. A graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, where she earned her degree in Information Systems and Business Analytics, Julianne launched her career in 2021 with a clear focus on technology. She joined VTS in an entry-level client success role, quickly demonstrating both technical aptitude and strategic thinking. Over the course of four years, she earned three promotions and now leads the integrations function, transforming what began as a startup operation into a structured, scalable, and high-performing department. In her current role as Senior Manager of Integrations at VTS, Julianne operates at the intersection of client experience, product, and engineering. She takes pride in having developed the integrations department into a well-oiled machine—improving efficiency, enhancing client onboarding experiences, and supporting company growth. Outside of her professional work, she is passionate about mentorship and community involvement, serving as a youth leader and supporting organizations like Make-A-Wish. Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the journey it has taken to get to where I am today. I started right out of college in 2021 with my degree in Information Systems and Business Analytics, and I've worked very hard, being promoted 3 times within my nearly 5 years in the field. I really specialize in connecting commercial real estate's complex, fragmented technologies into scalable, real-world solutions, and I get the best of both worlds because I'm client-facing so I'm not just behind a laptop all day, but I also really get to work with the engineering and product teams on translating business needs into real technical solutions. My most notable achievement is really owning the integrations department at VTS - we started as a startup when I joined in 2021, and I feel like I've really built that into a well-oiled machine with processes, helped grow the team, and made more seamless processes for our clients. I'm also very passionate about my involvement in the community, working with middle school kids at my church to help them navigate challenges with AI and mental health. I moved from Chicago to Florida about 2 years ago, which was the best decision of my life, and I love being able to enjoy the warm weather and being outside while doing work I'm passionate about.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received is from my father; that you can build a career and achieve meaningful success through dedication, grit and being true to yourself. That mindset has stayed with me throughout my journey and continues to guide how I approach both challenges and opportunities.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is to stay focused, be proactive, and trust that you can build a successful career in this field. There are so many opportunities to learn, grow, and advance—if you remain committed, continue developing your skills, and believe in your ability to move forward. If you believe in you, so will "they."

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I see right now is the rapid rise of AI and how it’s being used—both positively and negatively. While AI creates incredible opportunities for innovation and efficiency, its misuse could contribute to concerns around cybersecurity and misleading information, as well as broader societal issues like youth mental health. If it's used correctly, though, this is a huge opportunity in every field.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I love my career and I'm very passionate about it. I enjoy talking to my clients and I love being able to work on the technology side too, so I get the best of both worlds - I'm client-facing so I'm not just behind a laptop all day, but I also really get to work with the engineering and product teams. In my personal life, I focus a lot of my time with the youth and my community. I'm a volunteer and youth leader at my local church where I mentor middle school girls, and one of my big missions is to really just help the next generation with all the changes happening, especially with AI. I'm trying to help these kids' mental health and make sure they're growing into real humans that can function in the real world, not going to AI for mental health advice or using AI as their friends to talk to. I sit with them every Wednesday and Sundays at church, and I'm hoping the word spreads that AI is not everything. Outside of that, I love playing tennis and golf and just being outside, enjoying the beach and warm weather here in Florida.
