Julie N. Beebe, SHRM-CP, is a seasoned Human Resources Manager and Strategic Business Partner based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with nearly a decade of experience in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. Currently leading HR operations in the steel industry, Julie oversees recruiting, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, compliance, and workforce planning. Julie’s career spans a diverse range of industries, including electronics at Samsung, manufacturing, and nonprofit home healthcare supporting intellectually and physically challenged individuals. Early in her career, she served as a job steward with the Communication Workers of America, an experience that fueled her passion for employee advocacy and fair workplace practices. She is recognized for her empathetic, solution-oriented approach that fosters collaboration between management and staff while creating inclusive, high-performing workplaces.

A SHRM-CP certified professional, Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Human Relations from Amberton University and completed the Human Resources Management Certificate program at Rice University’s Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies. Beyond her professional work, she contributes to her community as a long-standing committee member of the National Polka Festival and has served on the Ennis Chamber of Commerce board. What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my drive and commitment. For example, earning the SHRM certification was a long-term goal that required dedication and thorough preparation, and I was proud to achieve it on my first attempt.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering my industry to love serving others and cultivate a servant’s heart. Be confident in your skills and knowledge, and never assume that you are second to your male colleagues.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is navigating a male-dominated manufacturing culture and establishing credibility. At the same time, there’s a significant opportunity in implementing strategic workforce planning and partnering with high-school technical programs to develop strong local talent pipelines.

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are helping others, maintaining professionalism, staying solution-focused, and approaching challenges with confidence.
