Ten minutes with Stacey
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my drive and commitment. For example, earning the SHRM certification was a long-term goal that required dedication and thorough preparation, and I was proud to achieve it on my first attempt.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to love serving others and cultivate a servant’s heart. Be confident in your skills and knowledge, and never assume that you are second to your male colleagues.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is navigating a male-dominated manufacturing culture and establishing credibility. At the same time, there’s a significant opportunity in implementing strategic workforce planning and partnering with high-school technical programs to develop strong local talent pipelines.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are helping others, maintaining professionalism, staying solution-focused, and approaching challenges with confidence.
