Beyond her professional work, Bennett demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning and embracing new challenges. She also completed a 40-day ocean crossing from Monterey, California, to Kauai, Hawaii, as part of the four-woman team Moar Than Us in the World's Toughest Row, a journey of approximately 2,800 miles that required preparation, teamwork, and perseverance. Her experiences reflect the curiosity and determination she encourages in her students. Whether teaching STEM concepts, supporting learners, or pursuing new personal challenges, Bennett continues to demonstrate that learning and growth can remain central throughout every stage of life.
