About Julie

I am a seasoned attorney with over three decades of experience in family law, litigation, and corporate liability defense, currently serving as Legal Counsel at Petrelli Previtera, LLC in Philadelphia, a role I have held since April 2025, where I focus on trial preparation, mediation, and mentorship of junior attorneys.

Prior to this role, I served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law for over two years, teaching in the JD program and sharing my expertise with the next generation of attorneys. I also served as Senior Trial Attorney at CNA Insurance for over three years, where I served as Trial Counsel handling high-volume, high-risk claims against medical facilities, defending nursing home claims, medical malpractice claims, and high-value tort liability defense. I served as Director at AIG for nearly four years, where I managed complex claims with high risk and counseled high-value, high-risk clients in controlling and predicting risk.

Earlier in my career, I spent over seventeen years as a Partner at Hill Wallack LLP in Princeton, New Jersey, where I provided liability defense for corporate clients with high retention, counseled and investigated Employment Law matters for a diverse group of corporate clients, drafted and updated Employment Manuals to limit risk on discrimination claims, conducted seminars for continuing education, managed a liability defense department with representative clients including Johnson & Johnson, New Jersey facilities, Home Depot, and Allied Trucking, and handled high-volume workers' compensation claims throughout New Jersey. I also managed a staff of associates, paralegals, and administrative staff.

I completed a post-graduate Family Law program at the University of Baltimore School of Law with a 4.0 GPA, concentrating in advanced litigation, wealth preservation, and complex child custody issues, and attended the New York University School of Law as a candidate for an LLM in Taxation, concentrating in the major overhaul of the Tax Code of 1984.

Across my career in law, my work has been driven by a commitment to zealous advocacy, client-centered service, and developing the next generation of legal professionals. Whether I am representing clients in family law matters, defending complex liability claims, or mentoring young attorneys, I bring strategic insight, deep legal expertise, and a dedication to excellence that has earned the trust of clients and colleagues alike. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue serving clients and shaping the future of the legal profession.
