About Julie
I started out right out of college working for a competing rep firm in the semiconductor industry alongside my mother in a friendly competition. I worked there for about 17 years, beginning in inside sales and advancing to distribution sales manager, overseeing teams in the Minneapolis area and offshoot offices. Now, after 30 years in sales, I've been in luxury guard-gated communities for about a year at Go Access, a small business with a startup feel where we wear many hats, mentor others, and build for the future.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Take in the information that is given to you. Pause, reflect, but stand 10 toes down when you have an opinion or a decision about a situation. Stand firm in your education and belief. Our gut tells us to do things, so pause. Don't let other people sway you away from your belief system.
