Her Interview

Ten minutes with Julie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the power of teamwork, a commitment to continuous learning, and my dedication to helping others achieve their goals. I believe that meaningful progress is built through collaboration, personal growth, and supporting the small daily accomplishments that lead to long-term success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to take chances, embrace risks, and follow my passion. I have learned that growth often comes from stepping outside of my comfort zone, pursuing opportunities with confidence, and staying committed to the work that truly inspires me.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to seek out mentors, shadow experienced professionals, and take time for self-reflection to discover their true passions and strengths. Before pursuing additional education or certifications, it is important to understand what genuinely motivates you and align your career path with your interests and goals. Building relationships, gaining real-world experience, and staying curious can provide valuable guidance and confidence as you grow professionally.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is improving digital banking access for older generations and lower-income individuals who may lack technology skills or resources. Helping clients navigate digital platforms while protecting them from fraud and security risks remains a key focus.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me are being true to myself, speaking truth with kindness and compassion, and showing empathy toward others. I believe authenticity, honesty, and understanding are essential in building meaningful relationships both professionally and personally.
