Julie Natale
Julie Natale is a seasoned hospitality and vacation ownership professional with more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and leadership development. Based in Hilton Head Island, she currently serves as Assistant Sales Manager and New Hire Trainer at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, where she combines hands-on sales expertise with mentorship and team development. Julie’s career path reflects both adaptability and ambition, beginning with an engineering scholarship before she realized her passion lay in working directly with people. She later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Research and Promotions from Middle Tennessee State University, laying the foundation for a successful career in hospitality sales and customer engagement.
Julie entered the vacation ownership industry after working as a marketing director in Nashville, where her talent for event planning and relationship-building caught the attention of an executive in the resort industry. That opportunity launched a career spanning sales, marketing leadership, resale operations, and real estate inventory management. After relocating to Hilton Head Island, she built a reputation as a top-performing sales professional, eventually joining Marriott Vacation Club and advancing through numerous leadership roles. Her achievements include earning Rookie of the Year honors, consistently ranking among top producers, and setting a Team Hilton Head sales record exceeding $9 million in volume in 2022. Known for her ability to close high-value deals and motivate teams, Julie has become a respected figure within Marriott’s sales organization.
Today, Julie thrives in a hybrid leadership role that allows her to continue doing what she loves most: training new sales professionals while remaining actively involved in sales production. Her specialties include sales training, customer relationship development, negotiation, and high-stakes deal closure. Colleagues recognize her for her energy, mentorship, and commitment to building a positive team culture. Outside of work, Julie places strong emphasis on faith and family, viewing her professional success as a way to support the people and values that matter most to her. Her journey reflects resilience, people-centered leadership, and a passion for helping others succeed both personally and professionally.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to God, truly. My main motivation is not work - God blessed me with a lot of skill sets to be able to provide enough income to do the things I need to do, which are really more focused on Him and my family. That's where my motivation comes from, is my family and my faith, and everything else falls underneath that. I'd say my biggest accomplishment is staying the course with my faith, despite the tough industry I'm in and the stuff that life's thrown my way - being diagnosed with lupus, losing a child, going through a divorce. Without your faith, how do you go through all the things you have to do? It's really not me, it's God, truly. We try to handle it on our own, and then we learn real quick - nope, nope, nope! Leave it in His hands.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received was to never hold back the skills and talents I’ve been given and to trust that my abilities can take me wherever I want to go. One of the most influential leaders in my career taught me the importance of balancing confidence with emotional intelligence — learning to communicate with grace, remain composed during difficult conversations, and avoid reacting emotionally in high-pressure situations. Her mentorship shaped the way I lead, communicate, and approach my career, and she was a major influence in my decision to join Marriott International.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are service, family, faith, and personal growth. My biggest priority is raising my children and being present in all of their activities while also maintaining a strong commitment to my career. I value building meaningful connections with people, which is why I enjoy serving at Christian Renewal Church through the meet-and-greet team and leading a Bible study from our home every other week. I also enjoy traveling, exploring different cultures and foods, staying active, and hope to reconnect with my passion for horses in the future. Above all, I believe in approaching life with a servant mindset — focusing not only on what benefits me personally, but on what can positively impact and support others as well.
