Her Story
About Julie
I am a media professional, nonprofit leader, and faith-based content creator with a deep commitment to sharing hope and building community through radio, events, and digital media, currently serving as Assistant Content Director at Good News Radio (89.7 KSGN), a role I have held since August 2023, where I lead content strategy and program development for a Christian radio station serving Southern California.
I am also the Founder and CEO of Big Truth Ministries, a faith-based nonprofit organization I established in July 2023, where I provide strategic, operational, and visionary leadership focused on teaching, outreach, and community impact, leading program development, digital content strategy, and live events including the Black Hills Christian Women's Conference, serving hundreds of women annually. I also own and operate two internet Christian radio stations, overseeing operations, budgeting, and financial stewardship, and build and manage relationships with donors, sponsors, churches, and community partners while recruiting, training, and leading volunteers and ministry teams.
I also serve as an On-Air Personality at KTLF Radio Network, a contract role I have held since August 2022, as a Facilitator at Goodera, where I facilitate in-person and virtual events for corporate clients, and as a Voice Over Artist at Sun Coast Radio, a contract role I have held since February 2021.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Theological and Ministerial Studies from International Seminary in Florida and completed Bachelor's work in Ministerial studies at Patten University in California.
Across my career in media, nonprofit leadership, and faith-based content creation, my work has been driven by a commitment to sharing Jesus with every person through media, events, and experiences, and to building community through teaching, outreach, and leadership development. Whether I am leading content strategy for a radio station, directing a nonprofit, or facilitating corporate events, I bring a strategic, creative, and compassionate approach that has made a lasting impact on the listeners, participants, and communities I serve. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue expanding my reach and impact through Big Truth Ministries and my work in Christian media.

Ten minutes with Julie
01What do you attribute your success to?
Not being afraid to step out of your comfort zone, being available and willing, praying myself through, studying, and sticking with it even when feeling unqualified.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid of the loneliness. Silence is golden. If you can't find a seat at the table, build your own table, and invite other people to sit with you.
