Outside of her work, Julie is a proud dog mom, adventurer, and lover of good food—often found exploring new places, laughing with friends, or jotting down her next big idea with colorful pens in hand. Her belief that leadership should be fun, empowering, and deeply human sets her apart, making her a powerful voice for modern leadership and authentic growth.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to truly listening to people—talking with potential clients, uncovering their needs, and strategizing leadership development that actually solves organizational challenges—while continuously showing up at conferences and speaking engagements to inspire others. I’m most proud of the moment I used my voice to confront inequality in my own workplace, walked away, and built a company on my own terms—now empowering leaders to create cultures where women never have to lower their standards or step down from the success they deserve.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my mentor, Sandy Spady, who taught me to own my voice and share my story with confidence. Through her “Women with Voices” workshops and Omaha Summit, she showed me the power of creating space for women to rise—and reminded me that my voice could help others do the same.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: if you’re sitting at the table, you belong there—so be confident, find your voice, and use it.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me—both in my work and my personal life—are connection, authenticity, and empowerment, whether I’m elevating women in leadership, fostering dogs, or meeting new people while traveling. I believe in living with purpose and joy, from recording my podcast The Corporate C Word to starting each day with a workout so I can fully enjoy my love of mac n cheese.
