Her Interview

Ten minutes with Juliet

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the incredible support of my family, including my parents and my husband, as well as the women professionals I have had the opportunity to work alongside. Their encouragement, guidance, and belief in me have helped me grow throughout my career. I truly believe that success is built by a strong community of people who support, challenge, and inspire you. It really does take a village.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is to do something you genuinely love because when you enjoy what you do, it does not feel like work. We only have one life, so I believe it is important to pursue work that brings you fulfillment and purpose. That perspective has encouraged me to build a career around something I am passionate about and to make the most of the opportunities I have been given.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women to jump in with both feet and be willing to explore different paths within the golf industry. The journey is not always straightforward, and there is no longer one clearly defined path to success. Try different opportunities, whether that means teaching, participating in tournaments, or exploring other areas of the profession, and pay attention to what genuinely excites you. Give yourself permission to experiment, learn, and build a career that fits your strengths and interests.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The golf industry has changed significantly, and there is no longer a single, clearly defined career path for professionals entering the field. I see this change as an opportunity for teaching professionals to explore different areas of the industry and create careers that reflect their individual strengths and interests. Teaching, tournaments, corporate events, clinics, and specialized programs can all provide meaningful opportunities to grow and serve different segments of the golf community.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Authenticity and transparency are two of the most important values in my life and career. I believe in being myself, connecting genuinely with people, and building relationships by sharing real experiences. As I have grown professionally, I have also become more confident in my abilities and more comfortable embracing who I am. That confidence allows me to connect more meaningfully with the people I teach, mentor, and work alongside.
