Her Interview
Ten minutes with Julieta
01What do you attribute your success to?
Consistency, persistence, passion, and the ability to build strong, meaningful relationships have been key to my success. I remain committed to delivering excellence, even when faced with challenges, I genuinely care about the work I do and the people around me. One of the best managers I’ve had the privilege of working with once described relationship building as my “superpower,” and it continues to be a cornerstone of my professional success.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice Julieta has received is to be yourself and never compare your journey or performance to anyone else’s. She believes in staying focused on her own goals, remaining consistent in her efforts, and trusting the process. She has also learned that setbacks are part of growth and that staying resilient matters just as much as celebrating success. Most importantly, she values authenticity, staying true to who she is, and having confidence in herself.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The best advice I would give young women entering the industry is to gain as much experience as possible and find an area you are truly passionate about. Be consistent, keep showing up, advocate for yourself, and don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Don’t depend on others to create your success. Take ownership of your path, create your own opportunities, and keep moving forward. Surround yourself with positive people, seek out mentors, and never stop learning. Most importantly, continue investing in your personal growth, because who you become outside of work is just as important as the career you build.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Some of the biggest challenges right now are increased competition, reimbursement hurdles, and restrictions around treatment coverage. At the same time, I see those challenges as opportunities to make a real difference by educating physicians, staff, and patients, building trust, and helping navigate barriers to care. For me, it comes down to staying informed, being a resource, and doing what I can to help patients get the care they need.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are kindness, consideration, independence, and putting family first. I believe in standing up for what I believe in while remaining true to myself and treating others with respect and compassion. I also value having a trustworthy and supportive network outside of work. Strong relationships and a solid support system provide balance, perspective, and encouragement in both my personal and professional life.
