Her Story

About Juliette

Juliette Ramirez attributes her drive to the need for financial stability for herself and her family. Having grown up in poverty without trips or vacations and starting life later after legal troubles in 2013, she focuses on making a positive difference. She recommends that young women in her field love people, remain bold and self-believing, seek answers through questions, listen and learn from experiences, and avoid letting rejection shake their confidence or alter their true selves. Ramirez notes her main challenge lies in learning software, as reading is a weakness and she benefits more from visual, hands-on training sessions.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Juliette

01What do you attribute your success to?

My motivation is money because that's how the world works and money is emotional. It's about providing stability for my family and myself, and trying to make a difference in my life based on everything I've been through since I was a kid. I grew up in poverty, didn't have trips or vacations, started life a little late, and got into some trouble legally in 2013 which changed my life forever.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

You have to love people. Period. But more than anything, be bold within yourself. Believe in yourself. You don't have to know everything. You can ask questions along the way. Listen, learn, have experiences. And don't let rejection make you doubt yourself. Don't ever change who you are to fit in.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

My biggest challenge is reading and learning software. I'm not the brightest for some things and my most weakness is rating. I'm a more visual, hands-on person so I would rather have training where I can see the software and how it works rather than just reading.
