Justeen Quartey-watts

I am a learning and development leader with over a decade of experience in curriculum design, leadership development, and training strategy across the hospitality and food service industries, currently serving as Manager of Leadership Development at Torchy's Tacos, a role I have held since September 2023, where I develop and implement leadership development programs that support team member growth and organizational success.

Prior to this role, I served as Director of Training at Blendii LLC on a contract basis for eight months, where I led training strategy and curriculum development. I also spent over four years at GoTo Foods in progressively responsible roles, including Manager of Learning Strategy for over a year, where I led learning strategy and curriculum development, and Manager of Field Training for nearly three years, where I oversaw field training for Jamba, Cinnabon, Auntie Anne's, and Carvel.

Before that, I spent over five years at Jamba, where I served as New Store Opening Coordinator for nearly one year, managing timelines and regulatory compliance for new store openings, and as General Manager for over four years, where I led store operations, training and development, and financial analysis in Corvallis, Oregon.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, Health Promotion, and Health Behavior from Oregon State University, with a minor in Business Entrepreneurship.

Across my career in learning and development, training, and operations, my work has been driven by a commitment to building strong teams, developing effective leaders, and creating learning experiences that drive organizational success. Whether I am designing leadership development programs, managing field training, or overseeing new store openings, I bring a strategic mindset, strong curriculum development skills, and a dedication to fostering growth and excellence in the teams I serve.
