Juyoung Kang is an award-winning hospitality professional, consultant, and beverage innovator with more than 25 years of experience across operations, concept development, brand strategy, and team leadership. Known as a true “Beverage Ninja,” she brings a multifaceted approach to the industry—blending mixology, mentorship, sponsorship and partnership development, and venue and consumer product concept creation. Currently serving as General Manager with Corner Bar Management, Juyoung is recognized for driving operational excellence while cultivating strong, people-centered cultures.
Throughout her career, Juyoung has led large teams, refined standard operating procedures, implemented minimal-waste inventory systems, and strengthened cost controls to increase productivity and profitability. Her strategic marketing expertise allows her to align brand programming with business objectives, while her hands-on leadership style emphasizes training, delegation, and accountability. As a longtime consultant through Pink Pavilion Productions, she has worked extensively in luxury and creative spaces, advising on food and beverage development, branding, media production, and experiential design for film, television, and high-profile events.
Juyoung holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Arts from Temple University, a background that continues to inform her storytelling-driven approach to hospitality and brand experience. Passionate about mentorship and human-centered leadership, she is dedicated to helping organizations translate vision into execution while empowering teams to grow, perform, and lead with integrity. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to more than 25 years in hospitality and beverage, guided by passion, humility, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Staying curious and open has allowed me to evolve with the industry while remaining grounded in the fundamentals of great service and leadership. Outside of work, hiking with my three dogs—Edie, Bailey, and Teddy—traveling, and exploring new food experiences keep me inspired and balanced, fueling the creativity and perspective I bring back into my work every day.
