Jyothsna Palisetty

I have 13 years of experience in the IT sector, starting as a fresher with Infosys where I completed my training in Mysore before being posted to Hyderabad. I survived for 4 and a half years there while balancing the challenges of marriage, kids, and work-life balance. I then moved to Capgemini for almost a year, followed by two years at Emphasis Limited in India. When corona challenges came and it became hard to travel and take care of my family, I got an opportunity to move to the United States. For the last 4 years, I've been in Denver, which has been a great experience that helped me expedite my technical skills and grow into a module lead role. I now lead a Kanban team of 10 members, handling everyday challenges from designing and getting requirements from the business to implementing production solutions, all while balancing my family of four - me, my spouse, and my two kids. Recently, I faced a crucial challenge when I was given a 30-day timeline to search for a new project while having a family dependent on me. I rebuilt myself, learned new things with the new AI environment, gave interviews for all the projects, and got selected in the first project itself. Now with a new client and new project, I'm working on modernizing existing legacy applications with Java Spring Boot, coming up with ideas and design workflows to create resilient applications.
