01What do you attribute your success to?
My mom raised very strong women to be very strong-willed and successful and to not be shy and always ask questions and go for what you want. Also my company Waste Connections always puts their people first and looks to grow their people from within.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Put your people first and yourself second. You build lasting relationships serving others and continue to grow as a leader.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be scared. Don't be shy. Always put your best foot forward, don't be scared to ask questions. Don't think that you can't do it. It's a big industry. Always ask to be in the meeting. Ask to join the conversation. It never hurts to ask.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Safety and integrity are the top two for me, along with customer service.
