Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to viewing every experience—whether positive or challenging—as a learning opportunity. This mindset has allowed me to stay open-minded, continuously grow, and improve both personally and professionally. Honesty and integrity are also core to how I lead and make decisions, ensuring I approach every situation with transparency and purpose.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is that every experience is a learning experience, whether good or bad. This perspective has helped me stay grounded, resilient, and committed to growth, even during difficult or uncertain moments in my career.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering IT is to stick with it and stay committed, even when challenges arise. There will be moments where you are tested or may not be taken seriously, but it’s important to face those situations head-on, learn from them, and continue developing into the best version of yourself. Your voice and ideas matter, so keep using them.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is navigating environments where women in technical roles may not always be taken seriously or may not receive equal recognition for their contributions. However, there are also strong opportunities, especially in bringing creativity into problem-solving, improving processes, and driving automation in service desk operations to enhance efficiency and client support.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values to me in both my work and personal life are honesty and integrity. I believe in being transparent, doing honest work, and ensuring that communication and decisions are guided by fairness, accountability, and respect for others.
