Kait Cowan
Kait Cowan is the Founder and Managing Legal Executive at Noble Nectar Consultants, where she operates at the intersection of medicine and litigation. For more than a decade, she has scaled expert-witness platforms, structured multimillion-dollar operational systems, and coordinated high-stakes civil and criminal case strategies. Kait’s work focuses on building infrastructure that ensures contracts, compliance, physician recruitment, billing transparency, and litigation workflows withstand rigorous scrutiny. She brings a physician-first approach to every engagement, aligning medical expertise with legal strategy to strengthen outcomes for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Her day-to-day responsibilities span a wide array of high-level operational and client-facing activities. Kait’s calendar is filled with marketing meetings with law firms, recruitment calls with active clinical practitioners, and consultations with in-house counsel at major insurance firms, including Progressive. She organizes “lunch and learn” events for attorneys, connecting them with physicians across specialties such as orthopedic surgery and radiology to deepen their understanding of medical context in civil law. Her work includes case setup, medical record management, scheduling, billing, accounting, marketing campaigns, and follow-ups, alongside attending conferences to remain at the forefront of the medical-legal field.
Kait’s career achievements are deeply personal and meaningful. Inspired by her late father, a family physician known for integrity and service, she is committed to ethical physician partnerships and truthful medical testimony in the justice system. Among her proudest accomplishments is providing expert support for military court-martials, including a 2024 case in Germany where a pediatric neurosurgeon helped achieve a favorable outcome. These experiences reflect her mission: to combine credibility, compassion, and clinical precision in guiding attorneys and physicians through complex legal challenges, honoring her father’s legacy while advancing justice.

What do you attribute your success to?
Kait Is an extremely enthusiastic, passionate, dedicated, driven, Inspiring woman who shared her career path with us and her exciting new chapter of life opening her own private practice. When asked about her moments that she was most proud of and most notable within her professional realm she said working with court materials and working with the military being able to provide some of the best experts in the world to help military staff with her advisement has been incredibly rewarding. Being able to help guide them in some extremely difficult and sad cases that are not widely known has been an honor. She worked with one case in Germany in 2024 that had a good outcome, with pediatric neurosurgeons and that was one of her proudest moments and career moves. But in general, being able to connect and help people in the government and help with their cases through the military and make a difference on a grand scale and on a smaller scale within her community is what is most rewarding and fulfilling for her personally.
In her words:
Founder & Managing Legal Executive at Noble Nectar Consultants, where legal strategy meets clinical precision.
For more than a decade, I have operated at the intersection of medicine and litigation—scaling expert-witness platforms, structuring multimillion-dollar growth systems, and coordinating high-stakes civil and criminal case strategy. My expertise lies in building infrastructure: contracts, compliance, physician recruitment, billing transparency, and litigation workflows that withstand scrutiny.
I am known for decisive leadership, meticulous case oversight, and an unwavering commitment to ethical, physician-forward partnerships that strengthen both expert credibility and client outcomes.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
When asked about the people who have made the biggest impact in her life, she highlighted her father who was a family doctor who has always been extremely humble. He worked 24 hours a day pretty much on call consistently, he was the family doctor that would take care of his neighbors when they were sick and was just very overworked and underappreciated. She comes from a medical family background, and while her father unfortunately passed in 2018 from prostate cancer and leukemia she would love to honor him for all of his incredible impact in his community and in her life. She never wanted to be in the medical field, but she does know a lot about medicine so for her she was extremely motivated to do something that reflected the quality of honest testimony and honest doctors doing the right thing and highlighting doctors helping other doctors, preventing malpractice and things of that nature. Doctors for doctors and things that her father would have been exceptionally proud of. She would love to highlight him for the incredible impact he had in her life comment for the honorable man and father he was to her. She would also love to recognize her mother who is a true fighter, she has had breast cancer twice and is still thriving and giving into her community. She lives her life for people through home care, those who are terminally ill and in need. Her mother is incredibly selfless and dedicated to the betterment of other people's lives, which always comes full circle bringing color to others people's worlds through honesty and kindness which are a huge part of Kait's life as well. She would also love to highlight her best friend who also passed away, Phil, who was a pain management specialist and had just started the first Ketamine clinic in St Petersburg Florida. Phil always encouraged Kait to stay motivated, and even though he didn't have the chance to do all the things he wanted to in life she continuously tries to do good to honor him and bring his and her father's legacy to life through her own contribution within her community and for the next generation.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to take chances on yourself early. If you're a dedicated, hardworking female, I know for me, I will always give whatever I'm doing, or as far as work, I always give it 110%. There's no better person to work for than yourself if you're going to be that hard of a worker. I know that it's difficult to take chances, but if you want to get to a place where you feel fully accomplished and built, you need to build your success early on and build your dreams in a company. You have to be willing to take a chance on yourself, and that's something I wish I had done earlier, but I'm glad and happy that I finally was able to do it. Don't be afraid to take a chance on yourself at an early age if you have a passion for a specific field, and don't doubt your ability to do so just because of your age.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
It is a tough industry when you start from scratch. I have a lot of clients and attorneys and doctors that followed me over to my new business, but it is always difficult when you start over and basically reproduce a very successful company from the base up. Starting my own consulting firm and building it from the ground up has been challenging but rewarding.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My faith is extremely important to me. That is a huge part of where I am today, and I've been blessed beyond what I deserve. I feel like extending grace and kindness to everyone all the time is so important. Always being loyal, both to my clients and future clients, is extremely valuable to me. I also believe in treating everyone equally. I always like to say that I'm not competing with anyone - we can all win, and we can all support each other. In my downtime, I'm a true crime fanatic and listen to true crime podcasts all day, along with audiobooks. I really enjoy reading and listening to podcasts about how I can better myself both personally and professionally and working on self-care. I'm also a triathlete and do half Ironman triathlons, training probably closer to 3 hours a day between running and swimming. I do a lot of yoga, HIIT and Tabata, and I've been involved with CrossFit and cold plunging. I'm a very active person and love being outdoors, always focused on my overall health and well-being. I also love animals and taking care of my pets - I have a teacup Pomeranian and a ragdoll cat.
