Kaitlyn Place

Kaitlyn Place serves as an Event Experience Manager at Gaylord National in Alexandria, Virginia. In this role, she acts as the main liaison between clients and multiple hotel departments to ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations. She brings approximately three years of experience in the events field, having previously spent four years with the Walt Disney Company, including two years in their conventions and events department where she coordinated weddings and dessert parties primarily at Epcot. Kaitlyn earned her bachelor's degree in event management from the University of Central Florida while gaining on-the-job experience at Disney. She is certified in Cvent and has completed crowd management training with Marriott International. Kaitlyn attributes her professional growth to her strong dedication and the support of her family. She advises young women entering the events industry to avoid overthinking small details, allow their creativity and personality to shine through, and learn to navigate different client personalities through hands-on experience rather than relying solely on textbooks.
