Kaitlyn Thurston

Kaitlyn Thurston is a Marketing Lead with approximately 6 years of experience in the field. She began her career at a fashion marketing company, initially serving as an office manager before transitioning into email marketing and supporting social media, photography, product input, and styling for photoshoots. After relocating to Nebraska, she joined Legacy Co-op as a marketing assistant handling graphics, social media, and website design for its five branches and a flower basket operation. A few months ago, she was promoted to Marketing Lead, where she now manages all marketing and social media for about 21 locations with one direct report and has partnered with AgBend to expand email marketing efforts. Kaitlyn holds an associates degree and is working toward completing her bachelor's degree in the next year or two. She attributes her career advancement primarily to networking and on-the-job training rather than formal education. Outside of work, she volunteers with the Windmill Days Committee, the Make Our Community Great beautification project, local chamber activities, and supports her husband's fair board initiatives.
