Kaitlyn Vaitkus

Kaitlyn Vaitkus is a territory manager at Berkeley Life Sciences, where she has worked for a total of approximately seven years across two periods. She began her career there in a hybrid marketing and operations role before transitioning to underwriting, advancing from underwriting assistant to underwriter over six years. After nearly nine years as an underwriter at a startup MGU, where she managed large accounts and mentored junior staff, she returned to Berkeley Life Sciences a year ago in her current management position. Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Math Communication from Towson University, with subfields in public relations and journalism. She maintains her own book of business, underwriting large products liability accounts exceeding a billion dollars in revenue, while supervising three direct reports and fostering broker relationships throughout the East Coast. She particularly values mentoring younger underwriters and supporting their career development.
