Kami Green
Kami G. is a Solution Advisor at Wise Option, Inc., where she partners with equine professionals to help them transition to software that truly supports the way their facilities operate. With more than 15 years of experience in equine veterinary environments, she brings a rare blend of hands-on clinical knowledge and operational insight to every client conversation. Her mission is simple: make the day-to-day work of equine teams more organized, efficient, and less stressful through practical, well-matched technology solutions. Before moving into the software space, Kami built her career inside equine hospitals, most notably serving for over a decade in leadership and coordination roles at South Valley Equine. Her background spans front office management, surgery scheduling, diagnostics, laboratory work, and direct equine patient support, including surgical prep and handling. Acting as a liaison between veterinarians and clients, she developed a reputation for clear communication, calm problem-solving, and keeping fast-paced hospital environments running smoothly. Today, Kami uses that deep industry experience to guide equine practices through the often-overwhelming process of evaluating and implementing new systems. Known for her consultative, low-pressure approach, she focuses on understanding each organization’s unique workflow and challenges before recommending solutions — even when that means pointing clients toward alternative options. Her work is grounded in the belief that the right tools, paired with the right guidance, can empower equine professionals to focus more on patient care and less on administrative burden.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always keep learning and always keep growing. Staying curious and open has helped me adapt, build new skills, and recognize opportunities I might have otherwise missed. I’ve also learned that some of the best opportunities show up disguised as challenges — and being ready for them can make all the difference.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is the pace of change and the fact that many equine professionals feel overwhelmed by the idea of adopting new software. Their days are already full, so learning a new system can feel like just one more burden rather than a solution. The opportunity is in meeting people where they are and using real industry experience to guide them through that transition. When we can connect software to their everyday workflow and show clear, practical benefits, it becomes less about technology and more about making their work easier, more organized, and more sustainable.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Continual learning is one of my core values, both professionally and personally. I believe in staying open to growth, new ideas, and unexpected opportunities, because that mindset is what keeps me adaptable and moving forward. I’m also deeply service-oriented. Whether at work or in life, I care about making a meaningful difference by helping others—especially by making my clients’ jobs easier, less stressful, and more organized.
