With extensive experience in K–12 education, professional development, instructional coaching, and educational leadership, she works to help school districts identify areas for improvement, develop effective systems, and implement strategies that support meaningful educational growth. Throughout her career at engage2learn, Kammi has held several leadership positions, including Executive Director of Partner Success and Chief of Partner Success, before assuming her current executive role in February 2026. Her work reflects a commitment to helping educators strengthen their skills, improving organizational effectiveness, and expanding access to impactful educational solutions.

Before joining engage2learn, Kammi spent 14 years in public education, building a diverse professional background that began as a secondary mathematics teacher and progressed through instructional coaching, campus administration, and district-level leadership. She served as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction at Anderson-Shiro Consolidated Independent School District for seven years before becoming Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Bryan Independent School District. These experiences provided her with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by teachers, school administrators, and district leaders. Motivated by her desire to influence education on a broader scale, she transitioned into education-focused organizational leadership, where she could support multiple school districts in developing effective practices and improving outcomes. Kammi holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies, both from Texas A&M University. She also holds professional certifications as a T-TESS Appraiser and McREL Principal Appraiser.

Kammi attributes much of her success to the perseverance, goal-setting, and generosity modeled by her parents, whose example taught her to remain determined through challenges and continue giving back to others. She believes in setting ambitious goals, embracing opportunities for growth, and recognizing that meaningful contributions to education can extend beyond traditional career paths. Outside of work, Kammi prioritizes spending time with her three children and enjoys attending their sporting events, watching sports, and staying physically active. She is also committed to community service, volunteering through organizations such as the National Charity League and Save Our Streets Ministry, as well as supporting her local food bank. Her concern for families experiencing food insecurity reinforces her belief in the importance of helping others and strengthening communities. Through her professional leadership, dedication to her family, and commitment to service, Kammi continues to champion educational improvement and make a positive difference in the lives of educators, students, and families.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kammi

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my drive and success to how I grew up. My parents were amazing role models who showed so much perseverance through different challenges. They modeled perseverance, taught us how to set goals and gave support to reach them. No matter what challenges they faced, they were always giving back to others, which made a huge impact.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I carry with me is to maintain a strong sense of purpose and remember the importance of giving back to others. Family is at the center of my life, and I value opportunities to support my children while teaching them the importance of community service. Through volunteering with organizations such as the National Charity League and our local food bank, I have learned how meaningful it is to help families facing challenges and make a positive difference in their lives.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering education is to dream big and recognize that there are many ways to make a meaningful impact on students' lives. You don't have to follow the traditional path to create change on a broader scale. Have confidence in your abilities, explore different opportunities, and believe that you can be one of the people who makes a lasting difference in education.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in education is the ability to make an impact beyond the traditional classroom setting. By focusing on educator effectiveness, leadership development, and system-wide improvements, we can help school districts strengthen their practices and improve student outcomes on a broader scale. The challenge is finding effective ways to support educators and implement solutions that create meaningful, lasting change. I believe there are many opportunities for women to step into leadership roles, think beyond traditional career paths, and make a difference in education.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are perseverance, goal-setting, hard work, and giving back to others. My parents instilled these values in me by showing me how to keep moving forward through challenges while continuing to support others. Their example taught me that success is not just about achieving personal and professional goals but also about making a positive difference in the lives of others. I carry these lessons into my work by focusing on continuous growth, building strong teams, and helping educators and school districts succeed.
