I am a woman who rebuilt her life from the ground up — across countries, cultures, and stages of life. After completing my degree from Delhi University in 2010, I spent more than a decade gaining rich experience in administration, operations, education, and leadership. But my most defining chapter began when I made the courageous decision to move to the United States to pursue my MBA and create a new future for myself and my family.

My journey was full of challenges: long career gaps, motherhood responsibilities, cultural expectations, and judgments from people who questioned my dreams. I heard comments like “Why study abroad after marriage?” and “She will forget her roots.” But I chose to rise above the noise and follow the path I believed in.

The hardest moment came when my son fell sick after I moved — and I was ready to leave everything behind and return home. But I chose strength over fear. I balanced my emotions, rebuilt stability for him, continued my studies, worked multiple roles, and transformed every challenge into fuel for my growth.

Today, I stand as a woman who didn’t give up — not when circumstances were difficult, not when people doubted me, and not when life tested me the most.

I am proud to be a mother, a graduate student, a global professional, and a woman who had the courage to start over at a time when many believe it’s too late.

I believe in:

resilience, integrity, reinvention, and rising again — stronger, wiser, and more determined than before.

My purpose now is to inspire other women to trust themselves, take bold decisions, and build lives that reflect their strength, not their struggles. If my journey proves anything, it’s this:

You are never behind. You are just getting ready for your breakthrough.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience and the courage to rebuild myself at every stage of life. Stepping into new countries, new roles, and new challenges taught me to believe in my own strength even when circumstances were uncertain. My discipline, hard work, and refusal to give up even after long career gaps, helped me grow into the woman I am today. I also owe my success to the people who supported me, and to my own commitment to keep learning, improving, and rising with grace.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was simple but life-changing: “Don’t wait for the perfect moment — create it.”

It taught me to stop holding myself back, to take the first step even when I didn’t have all the answers, and to trust that clarity comes from action, not hesitation. This mindset helped me rebuild my career after long gaps, move to a new country, pursue my MBA, and step into opportunities far beyond my comfort zone. It reminds me and every woman that progress begins the moment we choose courage over fear.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is simple: take up space, trust your voice, and stop underestimating your own potential.

Don’t wait to “feel ready” — competence grows through action. Ask the questions others are afraid to ask, build relationships with people who challenge you, and stay fiercely committed to your growth. Most importantly, don’t let fear, judgment, or comparison decide your limits. The world needs women who lead boldly, think differently, and create opportunities not only for themselves, but for those who will follow

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge and the biggest opportunity is the same: transformation.

Industries today are evolving faster than ever, and those who once resisted change are now being forced to embrace it. Whether it’s technology, sustainability, or data-driven decision making, the field is shifting toward innovation at a pace we’ve never seen before. The opportunity lies in our ability to adapt, think globally, and bring fresh perspectives that traditional systems often lack. Women who are agile, strategic, and visionary will not just fit into this new world — they will lead it.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me are integrity, resilience, empathy, and continuous growth.

I believe in showing up with honesty, treating people with dignity, and keeping my word even when it’s inconvenient. I believe in rising after every setback, learning something from every challenge, and constantly upgrading the person I am — not just the titles I hold. And I believe in leading with heart: lifting others as I climb, creating opportunities where none exist, and building a life rooted in purpose, balance, and meaningful impact.i
