About Kandy
Kandy King serves as a learning and development facilitator at TD Bank, where she trains new hires, cross-trainees, and leadership in operations and collections. With 4 or 5 years in the field, she brings a background in business management analysis and cybersecurity, and she is transitioning toward governance, risk, and compliance. Kandy earned a degree in technology and cybersecurity after being inspired by a chance encounter, and she taught herself Python coding. She is a member of the Disability and Inclusion Network, the Business Resource Group, and Forever Proud. Kandy volunteers by teaching elementary students about banking and credit, supporting the blind coalition in Florida, mentoring at work, and reading to children at the public library. She attributes her success to continuous growth, investing in herself, remaining open to learning from everyone regardless of position, and sharing knowledge to create impact. Kandy strives to bridge the IT and cyber worlds with everyday life, particularly by helping elders with technology.
