About Karah
Karah Cox serves as Talent Management Coordinator, a role she is entering for her first year after five years in the education field. Previously, she worked as an English instructor and professor, where she developed and facilitated trainings, created courses and curriculum, and performed learning assessments to support individualized student progress. She is passionate about training and development and lifelong learning. Karah earned a bachelor's degree with a double major in English and psychology from the University of South Florida and a master's degree in English from Arizona State University. She attributes her success to determination and perseverance, noting that failure is not an option and that she keeps pushing forward through challenges.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I am so determined and motivated that failure is not an option for me. Like, I will keep going until I succeed. Perseverance is one of my superpowers. I have had to overcome challenges throughout my journey but I keep pushing forward.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's never too late to follow your dreams. You need to be patient because the universe is working with you, and you just have to wait for your time to come, because sometimes it's just on the horizon.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Communication and honesty are most important. I am very adamant about communication and being transparent. Honesty allows us to learn from one another without sugarcoating, and helps me know how I can improve and grow.
