About Karen
Hi, I’m Karen Cerezo — Board-Certified Health Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Menopause Wellness Expert, and TEDx Speaker. I help women 45+ navigate the hormonal rollercoaster of midlife with clarity, confidence, and practical strategies that actually work.
I specialize in helping women in midlife feel strong, confident, and back in control of their health as they navigate the hormonal rollercoaster of perimenopause and menopause.
For over 10 years, I’ve coached women 45+ through one of the most misunderstood, under-supported, and frankly ignored seasons of life—blending evidence-based strategies with real-world experience to create practical, personalized plans that actually work.
But this isn’t just professional for me, it’s personal.
I’ve been through the hormonal chaos myself: weight gain that won’t quit, exhaustion that hits like a brick wall, and the mental fog that no one really warns you about. I realized there had to be a better way. That experience changed everything about how I coach, teach, and support women like you.
I now guide women through:
- Hormone-informed fitness and strength training
- Simple, sustainable nutrition strategies
- Mindset and behavior coaching
- Sleep, stress, and symptom support
My goal is simple: equip women with the tools, clarity, and confidence to take charge of their health without extreme diets, guilt, or guesswork.
Whether you’re trying to understand what’s happening with your body, find a fitness plan that actually works for this stage of life, or simply feel more like yourself again, I’m here to help you
navigate it.
Let’s make this season one of strength, clarity, and confidence.

Ten minutes with Karen
01What do you attribute your success to?
My success comes from a combination of lived experience, consistency, and a deep commitment to serving women honestly. I don’t teach theory, I teach what I’ve lived, studied, and coached through for years. I’ve also been willing to evolve, stay curious, and do the work even when it’s uncomfortable. Most importantly, I’ve built trust by showing up with empathy, credibility, and no-BS truth.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
“Stop trying to be for everyone.” The moment I stopped watering down my message to be more palatable and instead leaned into who I actually serve—midlife women who want real solutions—everything changed. Clarity attracts the right opportunities.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Learn the science, but don’t underestimate the power of listening. Credentials matter, but connection matters more. Set boundaries early, charge what you’re worth, and don’t wait for permission to take up space. Your voice and perspective are assets, use them.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is misinformation - especially around women’s health and menopause, being spread loudly and confidently online.
The biggest opportunity is education. Companies, healthcare providers, and women themselves are finally paying attention. There’s enormous potential to create evidence-based, compassionate solutions that actually improve quality of life and workplace outcomes.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, honesty, compassion, and courage. I value doing what’s right over what’s easy, telling the truth even when it’s uncomfortable, and treating people like humans, not transactions. In both work and life, I believe in growth, accountability, and leaving people stronger than I found them.
