Karen Harris

Karen Harris is a vocational specialist with 16 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in building job skills and achieving employment. She is state certified and currently works part-time across two organizations, providing job coaching, job development, skills assessments, and pre-employment transition services to high school students. Her background includes five years each at a county organization, a vocational high school program, and a mental health organization, following earlier roles in construction, sales, and project management. She also volunteered with NAMI for four years co-teaching a class on mental illness in children and is currently doing volunteer work for campaigns.
