Karen Larrain

Karen Larrain has spent the past four years working in acquisitions and asset management for a private equity real estate fund focused on multifamily properties. The fund manages approximately $2.5 billion in assets across eight states on the eastern seaboard, including New York, New Hampshire, Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, with an office located on 42nd and Park in New York, NY. Prior to entering real estate, she enjoyed a more than 20-year career in fashion, beginning with a role in the buying office at Bergdorf Goodman before becoming a fashion editor at Harper's Bazaar for seven years, followed by positions at Glamour and Cosmopolitan. She earned a marketing degree from BU after growing up in Princeton, New Jersey, and attributes much of her career progression to networking and building relationships.
