I attribute my success to my deep love for helping people and using my skills to support trauma-related patients. Growing up in the medical field for over 35 years taught me the importance of making a difference in my community, which led me to become an EMT and first responder to save lives directly.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to believe that I can make a difference and to get out there and save lives.

My advice to young women entering this field is: believe in yourself, never give up, and always stay focused on your goals.

The biggest challenge in my field right now is finding ways to help and support everyone who needs my care.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are being present for my community, caring for others—including recently welcoming my first in the field baby delivery and showing compassion by helping dogs in need.
