About Karen
Karen T. Miller is an experienced operations and benefits professional based in Oak Lawn, Illinois, with a career spanning government service, legal services, business development, and community advocacy. She has worked with PPLSI/LegalShield since 2010, helping individuals, families, employees, and small businesses access affordable legal services and identity theft protection. Her work focuses particularly on small-business and group employee benefits, as well as specialized legal protection plans for truck drivers and CDL professionals.
Before dedicating herself to LegalShield, Karen built a long career with the United States Postal Service, where she worked as a mail carrier and was recognized for her contributions as a Customer Connect liaison and technology liaison. Her professional development has included extensive LegalShield training, personal development programs, coaching experience, and certifications related to employee benefits and small-business services. She has also developed a strong professional network through Chambers of Commerce, BNI groups, Alignable, and other business communities, using relationship building and education to connect people with resources that can help protect their personal and professional interests.
Beyond her professional career, Karen is committed to community service and veteran advocacy. She is a co-founder and officer of Fallon VMC, a veteran motorcycle organization focused on raising awareness of PTSD, suicide prevention, and veteran benefits, and she serves as President of Team Joey 22, a related family initiative. Her philanthropic efforts include supporting service-dog programs for veterans, mental-health awareness initiatives, and fundraising rides and community events. Through her professional and volunteer work, Karen demonstrates a strong commitment to connection, education, advocacy, and helping people access the support and resources they need.
