Karen Mulholland

Karen Mulholland is the business owner of the Greenboro dog treats company, which produces human-grade treats using no meat, cheese, dairy, or eggs. She started the business around December and has begun selling at farmers markets after completing required lab testing and regulatory approvals with Washington State agricultural authorities. Previously, she worked as an over-the-road truck driver for 15 years before transitioning to entrepreneurship after seeking ideas to generate extra income. She had pursued studies toward becoming a mechanical engineer but placed her college education on hiatus due to caregiving responsibilities for her mother and academic challenges with chemistry. Mulholland is driven by a passion for creating and improving products, drawing on her hands-on skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
