She currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer at CHABOT PLANET Inc., an AI-powered game platform company under Dark Farm Inc., where she drives revenue growth through strategic partnerships, fundraising, and innovative sales initiatives. With a strong background in architectural design, Karen combines creativity and strategic thinking to optimize product development, distribution, and market expansion.
Karen is also an entrepreneur, owning two companies that provide consulting and business development services to technology, design, and cultural companies seeking growth in the U.S. and APAC markets. She specializes in fundraising, go-to-market strategies, sales consulting, and global operations, consistently building strong partnerships and delivering sustainable business results. Her extensive experience enables her to guide companies in achieving their international business objectives.
Beyond her professional achievements, Karen is a dedicated mother and grandmother, with a daughter and grandson who inspire her daily. She is passionate about exercising, painting, and is currently developing an ebook. The best career advice I’ve ever received is that your business is fundamentally all about people. No matter how innovative the product or sophisticated the strategy, success ultimately depends on building strong relationships, understanding the needs of your clients and team, and fostering trust. Prioritizing people in every decision has guided my approach to leadership, partnership, and growth throughout my career.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to never stop learning and to actively seek out a mentor. Continuously expanding your skills and knowledge will keep you adaptable and competitive, while a mentor can provide guidance, encouragement, and insight from their own experiences. Combining curiosity with mentorship creates a strong foundation for growth, confidence, and long-term success in any professional journey.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges and at the same time, a significant opportunity in my field right now is networking. Building and maintaining strong professional relationships is essential for identifying new opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and staying ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. While it can be challenging to connect with the right people and cultivate meaningful relationships, those who invest in networking position themselves to access resources, knowledge, and collaborations that drive growth and innovation.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are family and being a positive influence. I prioritize nurturing strong, supportive relationships with those closest to me, while striving to inspire and uplift others through my actions and decisions.
