01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Networking is number one and foremost. It's not what you know, it's who you know. I got my first job at Fox 5 by calling contacts from a book listing professional organizations like National Association of Black Journalists and Women in Media, which led to an interview and paid position as a broadcast assistant right after college.
