About Karen
Karen A. Sumner, REALTOR®, ABR, SFR, is a seasoned real estate professional with Pratt & Company Real Estate, where she has built a career spanning more than two decades. Since 2002, she has worked as a Licensed Real Estate Agent, Corporate Relocation Specialist, REO Agent, and Property Manager. Her areas of expertise include residential real estate, property management, corporate relocation, REO and foreclosure properties, short sales, and single-family homes.
Throughout her career, Karen has developed extensive experience helping buyers, sellers, investors, and property owners navigate a variety of real estate needs. Her work encompasses home purchases and sales, relocation services, property management, and distressed-property transactions. She holds the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) designations, complementing her experience as a licensed real estate professional.
Karen is also active in sharing real estate information and market insights with her professional network, including guidance related to home buying, property features, market conditions, and opportunities across Summerville, Charleston, and the surrounding South Carolina Lowcountry. Outside of her professional career, she enjoys dancing, Zumba, swimming, and supporting her family as a sports mom.
